This week, I’ll be bringing you lots of tools to use in your transition to a new career. Today’s tools are for finding jobs!
First up: Fairly Good Boss. I like the FGB site for a lot of things, from advice to job postings. The target audience is women, but it’s a good resource even if you don’t identify that way. In addition to jobs, you can find questions from people who struggling, advice from accomplished professionals, and informative articles. Other good job-seeking sites include Idealist, Angel Jobs
If you’re seeking remote work, my go-to resource is FlexJobs. It’s not a perfect resource but it’s helpful and informative.
For gig work, you’ll have to see what you like, but SideHusl does a nice job of explaining your options and vetting sites. Beyond that, you can check TaskRabbit, Fiverr, Behance, Gigster, Freelancer, etc. Check them out and see which ones make sense to you.
